NEW OPTIONS FOR MONTHLY PAYMENT PLAN
Effective with the Fall 2015 semester, the univeristy will offer a semester-based monthly payment plan. The semester-based plan will offer families more flexibility with start dates and frequency of payments. Please note that students who wish to use the monthly payment option must now enroll in the plan for each semester in which they wish to participate. More information is available at
Account statements are generated on the 15th of each month (or the first business day thereafter). Account activity occurring between statements, including payments, acceptance and disbursement of financial aid awards, and reversal of the student medical plan charge, will appear on the subsequent monthly statement. Up to date account activity can be viewed between statements in Cardinal Station and on the Account Status page in CardinalPAY.
The first monthly statement to include charges for the Fall 2015 term was the June 29th statement. Account activity occurring after a statement is issued will occurr on the subsequent monthly statement.
Families are encouraged to consider participating in the university's tuition insurance program. This program reimburses students for the cost of tuition and mandatory fees if they are forced to withdrawawl from the university due to medical or mental health reasons. Students who are not enrolled in the tuition insurance program will not be refunded for tuition and fees outside of what is allowed through the university's Refund of Student Charges policy.
Students with unpaid balances are subject to registration, transcript, and diploma holds. Additionally, those with unpaid balances of $300 or more will not be permitted to register for classes or select on-campus housing during the Spring housing lottery.
Interest is assessed on unpaid balances on the 15th of each month (or the first business day thereafter) and late fees are assessed once per term. The summer term late fee will be assessed on July 6th. The fall term late fee will be assessed on September 15th.
